How CDL Career Path rewards deep knowledge

CDL Career Path is the CDL Wordle hub's love letter to the journeyman. Some Call of Duty League pros spend a whole career in one jersey; others collect organizations like championship rings. This game picks a player with a multi-team history and reveals that history one stop at a time. Your challenge is to recognize the name from as few clues as possible — because every extra clue you need costs you points.

The scoring is simple and brutal: solve on the first organization and you bank the maximum; let the trail run all the way to the final jersey and you scrape the minimum. A wrong guess reveals the next team automatically, so guessing wildly is punished twice — once in points, once in information. The mode turns passive roster knowledge into an active deduction game, and it is surprisingly addictive once you realize how many pros share overlapping team histories.

Build the streak

Consecutive solves grow a streak counter, and your best streak is saved locally. It is the kind of game that teaches the scene's family tree as you play — who came up through the Florida Mutinees system, which veterans did a tour in Paris, how the OpTic lineage branches across Dallas and Chicago. Pair it with the player database to study the trails, then test yourself against the daily CDL Wordle, CDL Grid or the CDL Quiz.
